Animals Week!

Paws, Claws and Hooves & Wild About Animals 
June 15-18 (No Camp June 19)

What to bring: Old T-shirt/clothing or art smock, Water bottle, snack, lunch (full day campers) sunscreen (labeled with name) 

Calling all animal lovers! In the morning, bring your imagination and we will provide a ROAAAAARing camp experience! Make your favorite animals come to life using paints, collage, sculpture and more, while learning about animal habits and habitats. There will be cool artwork, games, stories, activities, animal talk and music. If you LOVE animals and nature, and want to make awesome art projects while making new friends too, then this is the camp for you. Whether it’s a growl or a meow, it will be FUN!

In the afternoon, let’s get wild! Explore the amazing world of animals and their diverse habitats from all corners of the globe. Design toucans, stingrays, monkeys, camels, llamas, ostriches, lions and more. Create animals in all shapes, sizes and colors. Each lesson combines exciting art projects with STEAM concepts, giving you the chance to learn in creative and hands-on ways!

*Before camp begins, all campers MUST be fully toilet trained and have graduated from training underwear. Please see Landon Summer’s Toilet-Trained Policy and definition. Outdoors Week!

Let's Go Camping & Wild, Wild West 
July 13-17

In the morning, get ready to bring the great outdoors inside the art room! Explore a wide variety of creative activities, including painting, printing, collage, nature tapestry and other art media. Discover new ways to express yourself and be creative through art by doing hands-on projects. Have fun with camping games, art projects and new friends!

In the afternoon, saddle up and join Abrakadoodle on a Wild, Wild West adventure! Imagine creating your very own pair of custom cowboy boots, wrangling a rattlesnake (and other animals!), all while learning about the wonder of America's National Parks! Gather around for campfire stories and create an art adventure you won’t want to miss!

Ocean Week!

Summer Surfing & Under the Sea
July 20-24

In the morning, get transported to a virtual tropical paradise where we’ll create the perfect wave, design fish that may look a little like Uncle Harry, make and fly airplanes towing a message, create watercolor seascapes like artist Heather Brown and more.  We will be serenaded by beach music while we play seaside games and join in super summer adventures!

In the afternoon, make a big splash as you learn all about jellyfish, octopuses, dolphins, whales and even mermaids! Create fun paintings, collages, sculptures and more. You will have oceans of fun drawing, painting, constructing and exploring the luminescence of water and the seafaring creatures., playing games, reading stories, learning about ecology and underwater mysteries while you play games, read stories and see the ocean from a new perspective. So, dive in!

STEAM Week!

Extreme STEAM & ArtBlast STEAM
August 3-7

In the morning, translate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math concepts into Art creations. Using a wide range of artistic techniques, you'll have the chance to bring your ideas to life in exciting ways. Imagine building a flying machine like Leonardo da Vinci, designing your very own rocket ship, and creating an aerial view drone map and much more! Push the limits of your imagination and challenge yourself to think like an engineer and an artist at the same time! 

In the afternoon, keep your creativity flowing as you dive into hands-on, mind-expanding activities! Explore the magic of magnets while playing and painting, discover the fascinating world of robotic sculptures, and experiment with cutting-edge technology. You'll design your dream house, create artistic math puzzles, and explore countless other creative projects that ignite your imagination. Have a blast while you create art in innovative ways!
