Discover the exciting world of programming at our Introduction to Coding Summer Camp for 4th through 6th graders! This fun and engaging camp is perfect for beginners and uses kid-friendly, free coding platforms like Scratch, Code.org, and Tynker to teach the basics of computer science. Campers will learn fundamental coding concepts such as loops, sequences, and algorithms through interactive games, puzzles, and hands-on projects. Guided by experienced instructors, participants will create animations, simple games, and stories while developing problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking skills. This camp is a great way to spark a love for coding and technology in a fun, collaborative environment!
Meet our Staff:
Sean Nolan
Sean is the STEM Lab coordinator at Landon School. He has taught art, drama, technology, and writing during his career but loves nothing more than making things. When he is not teaching, he can be found writing or playing dress up with his daughter Poppy.
