Typing camp is back at Landon Summer! We’re offering two 1-week typing classes for campers who are ready to conquer the keys. The overall program objective is for a student to learn finger/key combinations in an orderly fashion, starting with home row and moving to the top row keys. Weeks 1 and 2 each offer a stand-alone program that provides the space, time, and encouragement in which to become comfortable with the basics of touch-typing. Week 1 campers have the option to continue typing during Week 2, progressing even further along with their skill building and confidence! A typical day finds students engaged in self-paced practice with one-to-one teacher guidance; breaks for games, reading, and popsicles; a group typing challenge, and then concluding with some just-for-fun typing games. Because students are learning at their own pace, each student will receive an after-camp typing plan for continued progress.

Make this the summer to join the fun, make new friends…and learn to type!
