Summer prep. School year confidence.
These focused offerings span from one week to six weeks and give campers entering 4th through 12th grades the opportunity to develop their writing, gain study skills, pursue their interest in math, and practice the SAT.
ACT & SAT Test Selection & Testing Fundamentals
Boost your test skills by discovering which exam suits you best, practicing key concepts, and developing strategies through targeted lessons and focused practice!
The Thrills and Chills of Creative Writing
Pump up your writing with tips and twists from the award-winning (and frequently funny) author of 80+ children’s books!
Typing Boot Camp
Boost your typing skills, speed, and accuracy through self-paced practice with one-to-one teacher guidance!
Writer’s Workshop
This writing program is structured as an open writer’s workshop. Each day, the workshop will begin with Writing on Writing, helping students to see that writing is anywhere and everywhere!
Experienced Educators
All Landon Summer educators are certified to teach in Maryland. Most of our summer teachers are Landon School faculty who specialize in their subject areas and actively engage their students in the learning process. They instill confidence and a love of learning in each student they teach.

All learning spaces at Landon are new or newly renovated as of 2023, so the Landon Summer campus is an innovative, well-equipped academic environment for students. Whether coding in one of our technology labs or walking the campus for writing inspiration, Landon Summer students are surrounded by opportunities to fully engage in intellectual discovery and exploration.

With an eight to one camper-to-counselor ratio, Landon Summer counselors can build the personal connections that make each day fun. Our experienced counselors, instructors, and camp leaders foster inclusion and ensure safety as campers move between activities and try new skills.
An Expansive Campus in Bethesda
Our campus is the perfect place to enjoy summer. With archery ranges, a 25-yard pool, two gymnasiums, dedicated art spaces, an outdoor amphitheater, and more, children have plenty of space to run, splash, and play for hours.
