IncrediFlix summer programs are focused on expanding imagination and creativity using hands-on activities. All activities require a hefty amount of thought and teamwork, and all activities make learning interesting and fun. In every camp there is a focus on teamwork, creativity, self-expression, and imagination, with the objective of completing a movie. Our camps focus on guidance from the instructors on how to tackle set goals, so the children in our camps learn while "doing" vs being told how others do something. The children will work in age-appropriate groups and go through all of the steps that Hollywood filmmakers go through. Before each of these steps the instructor will provide information on what to do, and then they guide the students through the task to make sure we arrive at a successful completion of each task. Then IncrediFlix takes the raw footage created by the students, edits and produces the movies, and we send out copies of the finished products from the camps to every student.
