Are you ready to explore the thrilling world of global diplomacy and international relations? Join us from June 10th to June 14th for an engaging and enlightening Model UN Summer Camp specially designed for students entering 6th to 9th grade. This immersive program offers a unique opportunity to dive into the art of negotiation, public speaking, and problem-solving in a fun and supportive environment. 

Camp Highlights: 

  • Introduction to Model UN: Delve into the basics of Model UN through interactive sessions tailored for beginners, including simulations, workshops, and guidance from experienced mentors.
     
  • Hands-on Simulations: Engage in mock UN committee sessions designed to spark curiosity, critical thinking, and teamwork as you tackle global issues alongside your peers.
     
  • Skill-Building Workshops: Develop essential skills such as research, public speaking, diplomacy, and consensus-building through engaging and age-appropriate workshops.
     
  • Collaborative Learning: Learn from enthusiastic instructors who will guide you through the process of crafting resolutions, understanding international policies, and embracing diverse perspectives.

Meet Our Staff:

Issac Mensah Yeboah

Say hello to Isaac Mensah-Yeboah, Landon School’s Middle School Model UN Director! He has a bachelor’s in public policy from James Madison University and a master’s in educational leadership, and years of experience in the world of diplomacy and education. Not only has Mr. Mensah participated in and coached in Model UN, but they've also nailed the Best Delegate awards at top-notch conferences like Johns Hopkins and William and Mary Model UN, among many others. His excitement for shaping young minds and nurturing diplomatic skills shines through, promising an awesome and enlightening camp experience for all our future diplomats under Mr. Mensah’s guidance!
