Great, Big Messy Art

Oh, go ahead and make a mess! That’s what this camp is all about – messy art and creative imagination-expanding experiences! Everything we do is messy: sticky spaghetti designs, paint that fizzes and POPS, messy portraits that match our own messy faces, squeeze art and African mud painting! These happy, creative experiments spark our imaginations. So come mess with Abrakadoodle, the best art class to bring out your child’s inner Picasso!
*Before camp begins, all campers MUST be fully toilet trained and have graduated from training underwear. Please see Landon Summer’s Toilet-Trained Policy and definition. Landon Summer reserves the right to dismiss campers who demonstrate that they are not toilet-trained to the standards of the policy.

Let's have camping fun without leaving the art room! This art camp takes us to an imaginary world where we will hike, build a campfire, create a nature tapestry and learn about wild animals. We will learn all about camping by mapping our campground, designing our own camping trailer and "collecting" bugs in a jar. We'll use our imagination and explore painting, printing, collage, nature tapestry and other art media. We will have fun camping games, creating cool art projects and making new friends–without real mosquitoes! Campers will have time to collaborate on activities, present their work and make connections as they refine their skills, knowledge, and art appreciation.
Pirate Island Art

Ahoy all Mateys! Come aboard as we travel to Pirate Island where we’ll find treasure chests, sandy beaches, colorful parrots, and lots of fun! Our Mateys will create pirate ships, sandcastles, treasure maps, sea monsters, ship flags, doubloon necklaces and more! They will explore sand painting, sculpture, puppetry, paper construction and lots more. Arrrrgh!

Sculpt It Art!
July 1-3 (No camp July 4 & 5)

Learn to sculpt using wire, wood, clay, aluminum, plastic, string, and paper. You will mold, bend, twist, stretch, balance and even apply scientific concepts and mathematical methods while you design each three-dimensional creation. Learn about flexible sculptures, busts, kinetic floating elements, Mexican tin art, and amazing artists while creating 3D sculptures that are dynamic, creative, and fun! Campers will have time to collaborate on activities, present their work and make connections as they refine their skills, knowledge, and art appreciation.
Mix, Mold and Matisse Art

The Letter M rules in this Abrakadoodle camp. We’ll Mix colors, explore pearl-like Mediums and design special effects to create fun and shimmering art. We’ll Mold Modeling compounds and Make butterflies and other insects. We’ll Make our own cutouts like Matisse. We’ll learn the Mechanics of the art of Marbleizing and More! This Marvelous camp includes Music, Mind boggling games and Maximum fun! Campers will have time to collaborate on activities, present their work and make connections as they refine their skills, knowledge, and art appreciation.
Under the Sea Art

Make a big splash and join us for adventures in our Under the Sea Art Camp. You will learn all about jellyfish, octopuses, dolphins, whales and even mermaids! Create fun paintings, collages, sculptures and more. You will have oceans of fun drawing, painting, constructing, and exploring the luminescence of water and the seafaring creatures., playing games, reading stories, learning about ecology and underwater mysteries while you play games, read stories, and see the ocean from a new perspective. So, dive in! You won’t get wet, but you’ll make some new friends and have tons of FUN under the sea! Campers will have time to collaborate on activities, present their work and make connections as they refine their skills, knowledge, and art appreciation.
Space Art Adventure Art

Join us and blast off on an outer space adventure! Learn about the solar system, meteoroids, meteors and meteorites, constellations and much more. Find out why astronauts wear spacesuits and why telescopes are important tools. Create art that focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math concepts. Explore fun art techniques, play games, and make friends that are “out of this world”! All while we reach for the stars! Campers will have time to collaborate on activities, present their work and make connections as they refine their skills, knowledge, and art appreciation.

Calling all animal lovers! Bring your imagination and we will provide a ROAAAAARing camp experience! Make your favorite animals come to life using paints, collage, sculpture and more, while learning about animal habits and habitats. There will be cool artwork, games, stories, activities, animal talk and music. If you LOVE animals and nature and want to make awesome art projects while making new friends too, then this is the camp for you. Whether it’s a growl or a meow, it will be FUN! Campers will have time to collaborate on activities, present their work and make connections as they refine their skills, knowledge, and art appreciation.
