Adventure with Elsa and Anna Dance Camp & Family Madrigal Fantasy Dance Camp

Preschoolers (Age 4) through rising Kindergarteners 

In the morning, join Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven as they embark on a new journey to find out more about Elsa’s powers in this magical dance camp! The adventure is filled with amazing new songs, beautiful dancing activities, costumes, and adorable crafts. A final performance on Friday morning will give the ballerinas a chance to show off all their hard work! 

For the afternoon, join us for this Magical new dance camp as we dance the week away with Mirabel, Isabela, Luisa, Dolores and of course, Bruno! Along the way, campers will love dancing to all their favorite Encanto music, dressing up like all their favorite characters, creating adorable crafts and making new friends! A final performance on Friday afternoon will give your little dancer a chance to show off all of their hard work and all the new cool moves they learned in camp this week! 

What to bring: Dancers should come to camp in Leotard and tights or comfortable active wear. If your camper wears a dress or skirt, please be sure they wear shorts or tights underneath. Campers will also need ballet shoes/sneakers, water bottle, snacks, lunch (full day only), and sunscreen (labeled with name) for each camp day. 

*Before camp begins, all campers MUST be fully toilet trained and have graduated from training underwear. Please see Landon Summer’s Toilet-Trained Policy and definition. Landon Summer reserves the right to dismiss campers who demonstrate that they are not toilet-trained to the standards of the policy. 


Wonderful World of Dance & AIM Dance Camp (Taylor’s Version) 

July 8-12 Full- Waitlist Available

Rising Kindergarteners through rising 2nd graders

In the morning, join us for a magical week of dance and fun with your favorite characters from around the world.  Don’t miss the chance to twirl with Elsa and Anna in Arendale, dance under the sea with Ariel and Sebastian, or take a “ride” on a magic carpet with Aladdin and Jasmine.  Dancers will listen to their favorite songs with Rapunzel, Belle, Peter Pan and all your all your cuddly favorites from Lion King.  Don’t miss your chance to dance with all these characters and so many more.  

For the afternoon, get ready to dance the week away to all your favorite Taylor Swift songs!   A whole week dedicated to America’s favorite Popstar.   Campers will learn dances to Taylor's biggest hits including You Belong with Me, Blank Space, Love Story and Shake it Off,  and will create Taylor- inspired Crafts.  We will end the week with an energy-filled performance in the afternoon that you won’t want to miss.

Cheer and Tumbling Camp & Pop Star Camp 

July 15-19 Full- Waitlist Available

Rah! Rah! Rah! In the morning, your cheerleader will have the time of his/her life learning cheers, motions, chants, drills, stretches, jumps and a high-energy cheer dance with pompoms. This fun week also features daily tumbling. We will focus on developing strength, coordination, and flexibility as well as mastering skills such as forward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, bridges, limbers, and splits.  

For the afternoon, campers will learn beginner hip-hop style dances choreographed to the music of their favorite pop stars. We’ll teach them the moves to dance on stage like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Madison Beer and One Direction. The final day of camp features a dancing showcase on Friday afternoon where family and friends will marvel at what campers have learned in one short week!

Broadway Bound & Dancin’ Through the Decades 

July 22-26 
9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Your budding Broadway entertainer will learn exciting routines to hit Broadway musicals such as Aladdin, The Lion King, Newsies and Annie. Campers will spend this fun-filled week learning age-appropriate songs and dances that are currently playing on Broadway. Each day is filled with an energizing dance warm-up, Broadway routines, and acting games and exercises.  

For the afternoon, campers will learn the history of dance while having the time of their lives in this exciting Dance Camp.  Campers will learn different steps and fun moves such as the 50s & 60s Swing dance, 70s Disco "Stayin' Alive", 80s Michael Jackson's "Thriller", 90s Hammer Time, 2000s and much, much more!  Campers will also enjoy putting together different crafts to learn about all these fun dance decades.  The week will end with a fun-filled Parent Day Showcase on Friday afternoon as our campers sing and dance in a mini-Broadway revue and families can go through Memory Lane DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES!

Rapunzel's Tangled Ballet & Trolls Camp 

August 5-9

In the morning, join Rapunzel as she prepares to become the Princess of Corona in this dance camp! The adventure continues along with Flynn, Maximus, and Pascal! This camp is filled with magical songs and dancing from hit movies and TV series, as well as activities, crafts, costumes, and props. We will discover magic in the land of Corona in this thrilling and beautiful week of dance. A final performance on Friday morning will give the dancers a chance to show off all their hard work. 

In the afternoon, dancers will have a blast as we embark on a 5-day quest with our favorite Troll buddies to save music from the evil Rockers! Along the way, campers will love dancing to all their favorite Trolls music, dressing up like Poppy and Branch, creating adorable crafts and making new friends! A final performance on Friday afternoon will give your little dancer a chance to show off all of their hard work and all the new cool moves they learned in camp this week!

Art in Motion Dance is owned and directed by Allie O’Hare. She is an experienced, professional dance instructor and performer who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from the Virginia Commonwealth University and has more than 20 years of experience. Allie was most recently the Dance Manager and Instructor for the Joy of Dance company in Mclean, VA and also teaches and performs with the Sterling Ballet Company located in Sterling, VA. Allie has performed all over the world with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, the Hard Rock Casino, The Howard Theater, Beth Elliot Dance Group, The Moore Dance Project, Amaranth Contemporary Dance and the Mayzsoul Dance Company. She has performed in The Nutcracker ballet in various roles including, Waltz of the Flowers, Arabian, Snow Scene, Mice Party Scene and Mirlitons. She has also danced routines in Sleeping Beauty and Giselle. 

Miss Allie

Miss Allie is a master teacher and choreographer, who has danced professionally with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. She received her BFA in Dance and Choreography in 2007 from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has performed in The Nutcracker ballet in various roles, Waltz of the Flowers, Arabian, Snow Scene, Mice Party Scene and Mirlitons. She has also danced routines in Sleeping Beauty and Giselle. Ms. O’Hare’s vast experience and passion make her an exceptional talent for teaching young children dance. 

Miss Tiffany

Miss Tiffany tours with MC Hammer as the lead dancer and choreographer. She performed “Gangnam Style” at Times Square on New Year’s Eve 2013 with Psy. MC Hammer and Ryan Seacrest. She has also performed at the AMAs, the BET Awards, and the MTV Music Video Awards. She is a dynamic, fun, and very exciting hip-hop teach­er who loves to teach all ages. When she is not on tour, Tiffany teaches master classes for our Outreach Classes.
