This program blends online and "unplugged" non-computer activities to teach campers computational thinking, problem-solving, programming concepts and digital citizenship. Throughout the week, we will use various coding programs b to learn the fundamentals of computer science while integrating music and art into their own creations. During our final capstone project, campers will use the design process to incorporate all that they have learned into a project they can share with family and friends. This class is geared towards beginners new to computer science- no coding experience is necessary!

Meet our Staff:

Elizabeth Sabol has taught Kindergarten, 3rd, and 4th grade and is currently an ESOL teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools. She lives in Arlington and spends her free time exploring museums with her family. She has taught a variety of technology camps over the past 7 years, including animation, Roblox mod building, 3D printing, coding, and more. She is excited to be returning to Landon this summer!
