Landon Summer girls, proudly showing off their STEM experiment

STEM: Girls Rule!

One-week session
June 13–June 17
9:30 a.m.–3 p.m.
Rising 3rd through rising 5th graders

$500

In this camp, girls will rule the STEM world! Here, girls will be challenged to build race cars, design the tallest tower, and create a two-liter water rocket. These are just a few of the challenges that girls will face and dominate during this exciting week. This camp offers the curious student an opportunity to extend their exploration in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Through inquiry-based investigations and hands-on experiments, we will challenge campers to think beyond the “what” and wonder more about the “why” and “how.” Whether it is brainstorming ideas, building structures or solving problems, campers will find great satisfaction in working cooperatively with others who have a passion for STEM. This is ideal for girls who are new to Landon Summer’s STEM camps, as many of the exciting activities are recurring from previous summers.
