Build the tallest tower! Design the strongest bridge! Create a two-liter water rocket! These are just a few of the challenges campers will face during this exciting week of science explorations. This class offers the curious student an opportunity to extend their exploration in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Through inquiry-based investigations and hands-on experiments, we will challenge campers to think beyond the “what” and wonder more about the “why” and “how.” Whether it is brainstorming ideas, building structures, or solving problems, campers to this will find great satisfaction in working cooperatively with others who have a passion for STEM. This is ideal for campers who are new to Landon Summer’s STEM camps, as many of the exciting activities are recurring from previous summers.
