For 32 years, Landon’s Preschool Day Camp (PDC) has provided summer fun for boys and girls through creative, stimulating, and purposeful age-appropriate activities. Campers spend time outside enjoying Landon’s beautiful campus and participate in instructional sports, water play, nature walks, and free play on the playground and in the sandbox. Indoor activities are designed to encourage friendship, team spirit, and social awareness and include drama & movement, music, DEAR, art, and science. Special theme weeks offer a variety of crafts, science, and maker activities and assemblies are held on campus throughout the summer. We are proud to offer a five-to-one camper-to-counselor ratio. Our staff’s enthusiasm, skill and experience with young children are paramount to the camp. A knowledgeable and qualified teacher, an assistant teacher and a junior counselor comprise the team for every group. Campers are grouped by age and friend requests will be accommodated when possible.
Before camp begins, all campers MUST be toilet trained and have graduated from training underwear.
Weekly themes for 2020:
Week 2 (June 22-26): Zoom to the Moon
Week 3 (June 29-July 2): Stars and Stripes
Week 4 (July 6-10): Down on the Farm
Week 5 (July 13-17): Let's Luau!
Week 6 (July 20-24): Summer Safari

Sun safety at our Day Camps is always a top priority, so we will be providing all campers in our Preschool, Girls, and Boys Day Camps with sunscreen for reapplication during the day. We partner with Rocky Mountain Sunscreen, which has been servicing summer camps for over 15 years. If you prefer to send your child with his/her own sunscreen, please contact the Camp Office and we will alert the group counselors. Please note, we still ask that you apply sunscreen to your child in the morning before coming to camp!
Landon Summer Grill
Landon Summer partners with Sage Dining Services to offer a box lunch program for our Day Camps. Sage currently services Landon School and offers a nut-free menu with vegetarian and gluten-free options. This box lunch option is available every Wednesday to children in the Preschool, Girls and Boys Day Camps only. Lunches cost $6.50 and may be purchased through our online registration program. Lunches are pre-boxed and delivered directly to your child’s camp.
