The program includes not only language (based on ability levels) and cultural classes during the weekdays, but also travel and sightseeing excursions.
BEIJING: You will begin your journey in the capital of China. Your Chinese host families and the world-famous Olympic venues such as the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube await you in Beijing. You will have an opportunity to visit the most famous landmarks of China, including the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven.
CHENGDU: Next, you will continue your travel and immersion home stay program in the city of Chengdu. You will see the Leshan Giant Buddha, and visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding where you will observe and have an opportunity to have your pictures taken with panda bears. You will also watch a Sichuan Opera, explore the city, and visit historic sites.
SHANGHAI: Your final destination is the largest city of China. You will tour the Yu Garden, shop at the Chenghuang Temple and Nanjing Pedestrian Road, explore the Bund waterfront area, and see the Oriental Pearl Tower via a night tour cruise of the Huangpu River.
