Next Level Lacrosse (Girls)

9:30 am–3:30 pm (Monday–Thursday), 9:30 am–12:30 pm (Friday)
Girls, rising 1st through rising 8th graders
$340, includes reversible jersey ($25 value) and custom Swax Lax ball ($15 value)
What to bring: Legal girls lacrosse stick, goggles, cleats, mouth guard, water bottle, goalie equipment (if applicable), sunscreen (labeled with name), snacks, lunch with a drink (Monday–Thursday), bathing suit and towel for optional pool time
Arrival/dismissal zone: Green
Prerequisite: Players must have previously attended a Next Level Lacrosse clinic or have played on a team for at least one season.
This camp is designed to develop the fundamentals and team concepts of girl’s lacrosse. Our experienced coaches will provide comprehensive skill instruction with an emphasis on both individual and team offensive and defensive skills. Individual training will be provided for goalies. The camp will also feature guest speakers, daily competitions, awards and gameplay. Girls will be grouped based on age and skill level. Players will have an opportunity to cool down in the pool before lunch.
9:30–9:45 a.m. Check in, review daily schedule
9:45 a.m.–12 p.m. Small groups for positional work, stations, team concepts
12–12:30 p.m. Clean up, get ready for pool
12:40–2 p.m. Pool time and lunch
2–3:15 p.m. Full field games
3:15–3:30 p.m. Breakdown and clean up
Rain Day Activities: In the event of severe inclement weather, our campers will be engaged in the following indoor activities:
- Team chats
- Coach demonstrations
- Stick tricks
We will follow the weather closely to make sure that campers get back onto the field as soon as the rain stops and it is safe to play.
Coach Courtney is the Director of Next Level's Girls Lacrosse Program, Little and Big Spartans Training Programs and LaxKids. She has been coaching lower, middle, high school, and college-level girls on Long Island and in Maryland for the past eleven years. She coaches year-round for Next Level’s clinics, camps, and training programs and is the head coach of both the 2028 and 2027 girls travel teams. She was the Assistant Coach and Goalie Coach at Farmingdale State from 2013–2015, along with coaching multiple travel teams on Long Island. In 2015, Courtney moved to MD and has been with Next Level Lacrosse ever since.
Coach Kim is a D.C. native who played lacrosse and field hockey at Wootton High School before continuing her career at Florida State University. She teaches 6th grade in Fairfax, VA and has been coaching with Next Level for the past eight years. On top of coaching clinics and assisting with managing Next Level's Summer Sports Camp, she is currently the assistant coach of the 2028 and 2027 girls travel teams.
Coach Emily joined the Next Level team in June 2016. She brings over seven years of sales, marketing, and event planning experience to her role as the General Manager of the Next Level's Girls Lacrosse Program. Emily has been coaching LaxKids and introductory clinics for the past two years. She is currently the co-head coach of the girls 2030/2031 travel team.
