Landon Summer’s Golf Camp is committed to teaching beginning junior golfers the fundamentals of the great game of golf. Proper grip and swing are the focus as campers learn to make solid contact with the ball and begin to develop a feel for the game. In small groups, campers receive highly individualized instruction as they work their way through the different aspects of the game. Basic rules and safety are also covered so that the campers develop the skills they need to take their game to the golf course. The week concludes with a field trip to a local golf course for a true nine-hole experience.
Landon Summer utilizes SNAG® Golf products. SNAG is a proven player development program designed for new learners. The system builds strong fundamentals of putting, chipping, pitching and full swing to develop playing ability quickly and effectively. SNAG incorporates developmentally appropriate equipment and instruction.
Rain Day Activities: In the event of inclement weather, our campers will be engaged in the following indoor activities:
- Grip review
- Swing practice
- Golf terms and trivia
- Watching international golf matches
We will follow the weather closely to make sure that campers get back outside as soon as the rain stops and it is safe to play.
