Come say "Yes...And-!" We will explore the fundamentals of acting and improv through fun and interactive theater games and exercises. Throughout the week, campers will learn how to “be in the moment,” be open to new ideas and how to take risks on stage in a safe and supportive environment. Games and exercises are designed to develop creative thinking, self-confidence, listening, empathy, public speaking, communication, and teamwork.

Teacher bio: Tioni Collins is a professional theatre director, choreographer, public speaking coach and performing arts teacher who has spent more than 20 years in the classroom, on stage, and behind the scenes. She holds an MFA in directing from The Theatre School at DePaul University and a B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles in World Arts and Culture with a theatre focus. She previously taught at Landon as Guest Director of Theatrical Arts and currently teaches acting for Adventure Theatre's Musical Theatre Company.
Fun fact: Tioni has adapted several books for stage performance including George Orwell’s book, Animal Farm. She’s also a math and trivia geek who hopes to one day be a Jeopardy contestant.
