This camp is an excellent place for beginners and players with previous baseball experience to learn and improve the fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment! We will learn about proper hitting and defense techniques to improve performance in game situations. This includes defensive fundamentals such as properly approaching ground balls, transitioning from fielding to throwing positions, throwing technique, situational baseball, and pre-game routines to get campers ready for a game. Hitting fundamentals will also be addressed and focus on stance, stride and load, attacking the ball, staying inside and through the ball, and more!
Rain Day Activities: In the event of severe inclement weather, our campers will be engaged in the following indoor activities:
- Watching professional baseball games
- Reviewing rules of the game
- Strategy sessions
We will follow the weather closely to make sure that campers get back onto the field as soon as the rain stops and it is safe to play.
