Come out and learn the game of ultimate, which combines aspects of soccer, football, and lacrosse, with a high-flying disc instead of a ball! Campers will learn the game of ultimate – from the basics of how to throw the disc all the way up to offensive and defensive formations. No experience needed! We will work on throwing the disc in different ways depending on the game situation, how to run routes, defensive positioning, and running plays. Campers will enjoy a good balance of fun activities to improve their skills and of course scrimmages. Run, jump, and lay out on the Ultimate field!
Rain Day Activities: In the event of severe inclement weather, our campers will be engaged in the following indoor activities:
- Watching ultimate clips
- Reviewing rules of the game
- Throwing drills
- Strategy sessions
- Fitness activities
We will follow the weather closely to make sure that campers get back onto the field as soon as the rain stops and it is safe to play.
