Learning Spanish in today’s world is invaluable – it is amongst the top three most-spoken languages in the United States. Learning Spanish as a second language will also help your child’s understanding of the English language, can help with learning English vocabulary, and help your child be aware of other cultures. During this week, campers will have the chance to learn basic Spanish vocabulary and explore the cultures and traditions of various Spanish-speaking countries. We will learn through a combination of interactive and engaging activities such as arts and crafts, theater, games, songs, dance, cooking! Each day will be themed based and include multiple hands-on projects including making our own home-made guacamole and learning macarena dance moves!
Also check out French Discovery for younger campers!
