Pre-Calculus introduces trigonometry and provides a complete mathematical background for the study of Calculus. The class focuses on prerequisite concepts such as functions (polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric), conic sections, graphing, solving equations, solving inequalities, sequences and series, matrix algebra, complex numbers, and parametric equations. Students leave the class with an understanding of many of the prerequisite topics that arise in Calculus and a solid foundation for further study. Assessments include daily quizzes, weekly unit tests, and a final exam. Homework will be assigned daily.
