Creative Coders: Art & Storytelling in Scratch

One-week session
9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Rising 3rd through rising 5th graders

Arrival/dismissal zone: Red

Discover how to code while telling your very own stories! Campers will be introduced to a visual coding language called Scratch and taught the basics in order to bring their ideas to life on screen. Throughout the week, we will learn to create animations, interactive artwork, photograph filters, and more! This class combines innovation and technology to create projects that campers will love sharing with friends and family. A focus of the camp will be on collaboration, including three screen-free breaks throughout the day to get to know their fellow coders. Campers can continue to develop their project after camp is over with the free Scratch software.

Check out Coding Academy for older campers!
