9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Rising 4th through rising 8th graders

VineyardAppCamp teaches your child the skills to be a coder and the mindset to be an entrepreneur through having them build and release an iPhone app with their peers! Students gain an exciting set of 21st-century tech skills as they learn about innovation, entrepreneurship, logic, coding, and design. The group bands together to make an app for a real-non-profit organization at the end of the week. Our previous students have created real apps being used right now by a mental health charity, a New York non-profit, and a charter school in the UK and we have partnerships with dozens of nonprofits that have asked for apps.

VineyardAppCamp was built on the belief that early acts of entrepreneurship and understanding of technology pay dividends down the road. All students have great app and website ideas; with mentorship to unlock their ideas, they can begin their journey. Through building their own app, students learn to think critically about a problem and identify ways to solve problems through technology. On top of our unique educational philosophy, we build 21st century, distributed-computing driven educational software to create an engaging online classroom environment and help students get the most out of class. Our team consists of experienced Ivy-League coding experts– from former/current managers at large tech firms and successful startups to graduates from top universities. Every one of our instructors were chosen based on three key criteria: their passion for education, their technical know-how, and their mentorship experience. We take into account the needs of our students holistically, and we aren’t satisfied until we see that our students have successfully established their own enduring relationship with tech and entrepreneurship.
